How To Play Craps Casino Games

The objective when playing craps casino games is to use a single pair of dice that is six-sided for betting on what combinations the dice will roll on. And the items required in the game of craps are the pair of dice, a puck and a craps table. The players in the game include the boxman, dealers, shooters and the stickman. Each has an important role in Craps game.

The boxman ensures the game is fairly played and is responsible for guarding the chips. The dealers are the ones who make the exchange between cash and actual chips to be played. Generally speaking, one dealer can be expected at every single Craps table. The one handling the rolling of the dice is called a shooter. And the stickman is the announcer; letting everyone know who has won and who has lost.

Pucks are required to have two sides. The side that is ‘off’ is the side with the color black. The side that is ‘on’ is the white side. Any pair of dice used must be equally weighted and consist of six sides. And the craps game table is there to roll the dice and place all bets in designated spaces.

The shooter tosses the dice into play across the Craps table starting the toss at one end in such a way that when it reaches the other end of the table, it ricochets off of it. Players will each take turns rolling the dice. Turns are taken in order and in a clockwise direction. The hand of the shooter rolls first. The term used for this course of action is the ‘come out’ roll. It is the foundation of the point by the shooter. When numbers like two, three, seven, eleven or twelve are rolled during the time of the come out roll, the dice must be passed to the next shooter. When a puck is showing off, then it stays on the don't-come-bar until a shooter points at which time the puck will reveal itself as on.
